Millions of individuals suffer Traumatic Brain Injuries each year with devastating consequences for their entire families. The numbers are staggering, one accident every 15 seconds. The majority of survivors are under 30 years old. Most traumatic brain injuries are caused by motor vehicle accidents. Due to the nature and unpredictability of the severe disabilities associated with brain injury, many victims live out their lives institutionalized without hope of improvement. To expedite the search for a brain injury cure, we have founded the Coalition for Brain Injury Research. As a charitable foundation, we are dedicated to raising awareness and funding to support brain injury research.

The Brain Injury Law Group was founded by Attorney Gordon S. Johnson, Jr., with the objective of assuring that our mission of education and advocacy for persons with brain injury reaches people throughout the country.

Our Mission

To provide a network of support to survivors and families of Traumatic Brain Injury and Aneurysms in Southern California and beyond.
To offer monthly meetings for both caregivers and survivors in a safe, private setting of support, encouragment and education from the beginning of the injury to their current needs.
To provide community activities for families.
To serve as an information and resource center for persons with brain injury, their families and friends.
Support and assist BIACAL - Brain Injury Association Of California with their mission of advocacy in the state of California.
To increase public awareness of the incidence and the consequences of brain injury.
Support activities and legislation related to TBI.
To provide TBI care packages at trauma centers for distribution to families who are immediately introduced to brain injury by the well known and dreaded "phone call."
To hold our Annual Walk, Run Or Roll 4 Thought fundraisers to promote brain injury awareness, education, and support our efforts to expand and reach as many families and survivors as possible.
